Carolina Consortium of Care
What services does Carolina Consortium of Care provide?
We offer non-medical, in-home support services including personal care assistance, companionship, respite care for families, and specialized support for seniors and veterans. Our goal is to help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.
Who do you serve?
We serve seniors, veterans, individuals recovering at home, and families who need reliable respite support. Our services are designed for anyone who needs assistance with daily living activities or supervision.
What is non-medical home care?
Non-medical home care focuses on helping clients with everyday tasks such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance. We do not provide skilled nursing services, but we work alongside families and healthcare providers to support overall well-being.
How do I get started?
Getting started is simple. We begin with an initial assessment to understand your needs and create a personalized plan of care. From there, we match you with a compatible caregiver and schedule a Meet & Greet before services begin.
Can I be involved in choosing the caregiver?
Absolutely. We carefully match caregivers based on experience and personality, and the Meet & Greet allows you to ensure the caregiver is a good fit. Your comfort and confidence are our priority.
What if the caregiver is not the right match?
We understand that relationships matter. If at any time you feel the match is not ideal, we will work quickly to provide another caregiver better suited to your preferences.
Do you offer flexible schedules?
Yes. We tailor service schedules to meet each client’s needs—whether a few hours a week, daily visits, or ongoing support. We can adjust services as needs change.
Do you provide respite care for family caregivers?
Yes. Our respite services allow family caregivers to take time to rest, travel, or manage personal responsibilities while knowing their loved one is receiving compassionate, dependable care.
Are your caregivers experienced and trained?
Our caregivers are carefully selected, screened, and chosen for their experience, professionalism, and commitment to compassionate service. We look for individuals who share our values of dignity, respect, and reliability.
Can services be adjusted over time?
Yes. Care needs often change, and we remain flexible. We regularly communicate with clients and families and update care plans as needed to ensure continued support.
Do you only work with seniors?
While many of our clients are seniors, we also provide support for veterans and adults who need assistance due to recovery, disability, or other life circumstances.
How do I schedule an assessment or learn more?
You can contact us directly to schedule a consultation. Our team will walk you through the process, answer your questions, and help determine the best plan of care for you or your loved one.
